I am having so much fun crawling and playiing with my toys. I love my drum and my leapfrog music bench.

I have another ear infection. Mommy & daddy saw it coming and took me in before I got the high fevers. Doctor Abrahms said I am going to see a specialist to be sure there is nothing else we can do to help me out since these seem to be chronic. I will be sure to update you.

I am just about to move over from the Powder Puff room to the Huggables room at daycare (they are basically the same room but have different teachers and toys etc). They had a petting zoo come to daycare and I got to go and pet a pony--I loved it. I love animals. The big dog across the street Molson makes me giggle, he is so big and his tail is crazy.

I hope you have a good week. I am going to visit grandma this weekend and I will update you next week.

I AM CRAWLING!!!!!
It sure is a lot easier to get to where I want to go than rolling. This is cool!

I am not very graceful just yet, but I get where I want to go and that is exciting.
Mommy took some video of me the first day and said she will find a place to post it so you can see too.

I am just about recovered from my 2nd ear infection. Yup, I thought I was sick last time, well two weeks later and this time I was fighting off a 105 degree fever and infections in both ears. It was not fun.

I am babbling a lot now, I can say mommy, daddy, nana, and up (I dont really know what up is, but mommy thinks it is cute so I say it)

Nana keeps telling mommy I am going to crawl anyday. I got the whole arm thing down, the legs too, I am just not too sure how to do them both together..

I interact more with my toys; I have drums that I can beat on and alphabet letters come up, I like that. I have morraccas that I shake and it counts, and I have cups I can stack and then bang around. I like all these toys.

OMG--my cousins Lindsay, Emma, and Haley gave me two dolls that used to be my mommy's; that is really neat--thanks Karen!!

ps--I am 8 months old today; Happy Birthday to me :)

I am starting to recover from my first ear infection. Boy was I sick last week. I had a 103.6 fever and was just miserable. Of course I got the ear infection while trying to fight a stomach bug that was going around daycare--geesh.

July 4 2007

Well I can sit on my own no problem now; and guess what?....I said my first word: dada

I can finally touch bottom in my walker and yestereday (7/3) I walked backwards about 7 feet; mommy and nana were all excited.

I went to Grandma's last weekend and mommy gave me a bath in Grandma's kitchen sink. It was lots of fun and I made a big mess with all my splashing; no one seemed to mind.

June 2007

Did mommy and daddy tell you that I can sit on my own for short periods of time now? Yup. I can. And my feet finally touch the ground when I am sitting in my exersaucer. (not in the walker yet)

I got a little swimming pool and I LOVE to splash and play in it with toys. I even have a pool in the bathroom that they let me play in; I dont have to sit in the plastic seat anymore. It is fun.

I am still sleeping through the night and am only fussy when I am hungry or very tired. I am eating all kinds of neat baby foods. I even eat big girl bananas and cantelope in a special container that lets me chew on the food without mommy worrying I will get too big a piece.
