My tubes are scheduled to be put in next Tuesday 1/29/08.

I can now name some of my body parts: eyes, mouth (I open and say ah as well as point), belly, feet, hands, and nose. Thank you Meredith for my cool book.

When mommy asks me what a bear says, I put both my arms up over my head and say roar; she thinks it is cute and makes me do it over and over :)

Daddy took some video of me so you can see how good I walk and run but has to edit it before he posts it, the file is too big. So keep an eye out.

Well....the bad news is another ear infection...the good news is I saw the Ear Nose and Throat Specialist on Monday. Mommy, daddy, and Dr Bartles decided I am going to go ahead and get tubes put into my ears.

They talked it over and because I have so much fluid in my ears I am not hearing correctly and there is concern my speech wont develop correctly, and that I am experiencing hearing loss (temporary due to the fluid; I hear like I am under water) we are going to do it.

I'll let you all know when it is as soon as I find out.

My nana is in Florida visint my Auntie Pam; I miss her. I go from room to room calling her. I dont think she can hear me because I yell her name pretty loudly and she doesnt answer me.

I have been a good girl and am learning where all my body parts are; that is a fun game daddy and I play at night; I have a book that he reads to me.

I can use sign language for more, milk, please, thank you, and even can say more milk please in sign language. (so cute).

Happy New Year!
I had a great Christmas everyone spoiled me. I got lots of new toys--mommy said I live in a toy store :)

I am walking and running so well now; no more wobblies.

I dance in place when I hear music, and when the phone rings, I put the palm of my hand up to my ear, tilt my head and say 'ellow'; my nana chuckles every time I do it. (I amazed mommy and even did this when her cellphone chimed like she got a text message).

My two new things are shaking my head yes and no to questions. (I get it right most of the time). and I make this scowl face when mommy, daddy, or nana tells me no. They keep trying to get a picture of it but I wont let them. (I push my eyebrowns together, tilt my head down, wrinkle my nose, and squint...it is quite the face).

Mommy was home with me for 11 days but is back to work tomorrow :(

I had my first birthday party. It was a lot of fun. Mommy got me a princess cake and daddy decorated the house with lots of balloons and pictures. I kept pointing to everything and smiling it was cool.

Everytime I opened a present eveyone would chuckle as I would clap and then throw my arms up in the air above my head and then use sign language for more.

I did have a little reaction to the frosting on my face; there was not that much there as I am a neat eater, but what I did have there got all red and swollen; it went away a short time later (phew).

I was sick on my birthday; I had another ear infection. Mommy said I am going to a special doctor on 1/14 to check me out. I think she said he was an EMT...or was it ENT. Yeah, E.N.T.

One bit of bad news; my pediatrician has left our practice and she is not practicing in a place where she can see me unless I am really really sick mommy says. Mommy, Daddy, and I are very sad by this; Dr. Abrams is the bestest and I will miss her a lot!

Did I tell you that I am walking...actually running. It is very cool. I can go everywhere and so fast. I keep mommy and daddy running. It is great. I am trying to say more words too. I can say mama, dadda, nana, cat, book, papa (paper), baba (Barbara), all done, oaht oah, hello (with my hand up to my ear and my head crocked tothe side). I can use sign language for food, more, please, milk, and thank you...or is that blowing kisses...sometimes I get confused :)

Can you believe I am 11 months old today? WOW. Mommy and Daddy are already planning my first birthday and I cant wait (Sat 12/8 1-3pm)

I have so much to cath you up on; I went trick-or-treating around our subdivision with the little girl across the street. It was fun.

I have transitioned into the toddler room at daycare and am finally setteling in. I nap on a mat now (no more crib) at 'school' and I brought mommy my first piece of 'artwork' from school :)

I walk a little bit on my own now. I walk all around on my own if I can hold onto things or someones finger but I am getting more confidence and starting to venture out on my own.

I am going to see Grandma this weekend; I have not seen her in a month as she was sick and then I was sick etc. I cant wait.

Oh...I am learning sign language!

Mommy says she is sorry she has not updated this for me in a while; My Grandma has been sick so daddy has been away and mommy has been busy with me and all....

I just recovered from having Croup; I was miserable with lots of nasal and chest congestion, a terrible cough, purple circles under my eyes, and I was just plain cranky. BUT...I am much better now and look as cute as ever.

I went to see Dr. Abrahms today and she said I am doing great. I am 19lbs 6oz can you believe it?! I turn 11 months next week too :)

Watch your mailbox as mommy and daddy just mailed out some new pictures of me.

I walk all around the house while holding onto things (the wall, the couch, a chair etc); I can walk next to you if you let me hold your finger. I CAN walk by myself, but I am too chicken :)

ps--I can use sign language to say more now.
